As the days turn cool and the leaves begin to turn the world erupts in the vibrant, jewel tones of autumn. This set of four mug rugs will bring those warm colors right into your home. Keep all four or share with friends. Four mug rugs, each with a different leaf applique stitch up with surprising ease. The background of the mug rugs is made with a strip piecing technique that is a bit random. This is a detailed. six page tutorial on how to create this effect rather than a specific pattern. Every step of the process is illustrated with photographs. Full size templates for seven different leaf designs are also included so you will have lots of choices. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have through email or on my Facebook page. Email: Facebook: SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 7" x 9"

When I retired from a lifetime of teaching in 2007, I was worried that I'd quickly get bored. That concern didn't last long at all. I was thrilled to discover that there really is life outside of the classroom. I spend parts of most of my days indulging in my favorite hobbies of quilting and sewing. I started designing patterns as an experiment, and no one was more surprised than I was to find that other people liked my little designs. I'm a teacher at heart, so I do try to write my patterns in such a way that beginning quilters can follow them. I include lots of details, photos, and little informative notes. I make myself easily available to my customers, and I respond to all questions as quickly and as thoroughly as I can. Contact Information: Blog:, Facebook Page:, Email:
