PATTERN DETAILS

Here I go again! Inspired by my selvage collections, I designed a quick and easy selvage block. I made the red and green Fat Quarter wall hanging first - cutting up all my tiny bits of holiday selvages to make a fun keepsake. Then I couldn't resist going BIG and the 12 inch version of the block was born. The mini runner was created to go with a quilt I made for my daughter with the same fabric line. Trouble was her dresser isn't wide enough to make a traditional 12 inch block runner. So I made a mini! I mixed together fabric scraps I had left over with the selvages to create this one of a kind decor piece. THERE ARE 3 PATTERNS IN THIS BOOKLET FOR YOU! Fat Quarter Mini Quilt 12 Inch Block Pillow Cover Mini Runner All of these projects can be made without selvages - simply replace the selvage pieces with a striped fabric. Or dots! Or let your fabrics take you where they will. But if you've never played with selvages before, try it! You just might enjoy it:) With Joy, Sarah V BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY sew 1/4 inch seam allowance cut accurate pieces from fabric use domestic sewing machine straight stitch SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Fat quarter mini quilt approx. 18 x 24 inches 12 Inch Block Pillow Cover fits 16 inch pillow Mini Runner approx. 5 3/4 x 17 1/2 inches
