Pattern Details

Size: 6-1/2" x 6-1/2" closed; 6-1/2" x 13" open English Paper Piecing is a wonderful, portable project. And now you can take your supplies with you in a stylish holder that tells everyone what's inside! The Grandmother's Flower Garden block on the front uses 1" hexies and is given dimension by adding a layer of batting underneath, outlined, and then the batting is trimmed for a trapunto-like look. Inside pockets hold your supplies, finished hexies and the four "pages" of batting hold your pins and needles. Finish it off with hand or machine buttonhole stitching. Make one for you and one (or more) for a gift. 8 page pattern is full color with steps for how to English Paper Piece the hexagons, ideas on how to quilt with a trapunto effect, and a page of 1" hexagons to print!
