This isn't my design; I discovered some pictures on a German site (http://chasenbach.tripod.com/bqn/laubfrosch.html), couldn't find a pattern, so I worked out how to do it with QuiltAssistant (which is a great FREE program if you want to try out designing paper piecing patterns yourself). Here it is! It looks fun, but pretty complicated. This pattern as-is makes a 12" square, but if you want to make it smaller, change the scale when you print. On my pdf program, I go to File -> Print, Scaling Type: Custom Scale, and change the page zoom (for example, 80% scale will make it 12inches*0.8 = 9.6inches. OR, say you want an 8" square, you'd do 8inches/12inches = 66%). BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Paper Piecing SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 12" x 12"
