This is an easy to complete quilt pattern which uses 10 fat quarters and 3 additional yards of fabric. The joy of this pattern that all skill levels will enjoy it. It is easy for the beginner but has a sophisticated look to it that the experienced quilter will appreciate. Advanced Beginned Quilt Pattern. Basic Piecing Knowledge Needed. This quilt looks best if your fabrics are all from the same collection. Any collection will work fine. What I love about this pattern is it is nondirectional and the sides are symetrical. This makes it the ideal pattern for all of your needs. This pattern works well as a baby quilt or enlarged as a bedquilt. I recently did a commissioned bedspread quilt using this pattern. I used 10 dresses that the client wore when she was growing up. Two great women were a major influence in my creative life. My Greatgrandmother and my Mother taught me to sew, knit, crochet, and tat. I am the only quilter in my family and am self taught. Over the years I became interested in pattern design and started writing quilt patterns. I now design quilt patterns which I offer to you to enjoy. I love what I am doing and I hope you enjoy my work.
