Pattern Details

The PDF pattern Lavender flower quilt block contains only one section with clearly numbered pieces. You can use paper foundation method - much easier when there is small pieces. The finished size of a block is 4" (10cm) squire easy to enlarge or reduce the pattern to other desired size. I have added a percentage table if you need other sizes.. You can make a lavender sachet, pincushion, coaster, potholder. There are given 2 color models and variant for combining blocks in a whole quilt. Basic paper piecing instructions are not included. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY paper pieced sewing skills SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS the block is 4 inches square

I am Electronic Dipl. Ing. I have taught students in the university. The quilting is my love and passion. I have found patchwork around ten years ago reading a magazine. My first project was a table runner with one Marple leaf and mitered corners. You may say there is nothing special in this block. Imagine I have had scissors only and an old household sewing machine. No mat. No rotary cutter. I have not seen any video how to make it easier. I made the runner my way and began to read tips, techniques, tutorials. At the end of last year I won first quilt competition in my country with first prize Bernina sewing machine. Now with the power of Internet and social networks I have friends from all over the world. I was nominated by the Modern Quilt Guild for 100 days of Modern quilting in week of composition. I have explored many aspects of the patchwork and quilting. My patterns are easy to sew. The pictures look primitive, because I believe that children have to cultivate their imagination. There are plenty of fabrics with perfect prints on.
