This easy quilt pattern features heart blocks made from Jelly Roll strips. The blocks are quick to make and the pattern gives instructions for 5 sizes of quilt from Baby through to King. I have also included instructions on how to use the off-cuts from the blocks to create a design on the back of your quilt if you wish. The pattern includes fabric requirements and instructions for: cutting, piecing, pressing seams, adding sashing and borders, creating the quilt sandwich, basting, quilting and binding. There are plenty of stage by stage photos throughout. Mack and Mabel
Hi, my name is Julie and I've always crafted as far back as I remember. My Nan and my Mum were always sewing and they patiently passed on their skills. I can remember sitting at home sewing doll's clothes during the school hols at about the age of 7 or so. I loved making clothes for my children when they were young. I'm the person my family come to when they want a handmade gift for a new baby,a new home present for a friend or some clothing altered. I also make a lot of clothes for charities like Dress A Girl Around the World and I like book-binding - making journals. I always have a project of some kind on the go.
