Perfect for adding a little spring to your room! This pattern would look gorgeous in almost any color. I can see it in summery pinks and oranges or violets and purples. Keep the petals scrappy and use up fabric from your scrap basket, or go for a more coordinated look. Mix and match--keep all the centers one color and all the petals another. The design possibilities are endless! This quilt uses a combination of piecing and applique, and is for any quilter that has some experience with precise cutting and seam allowances. This is a fairly easy quilt to put together (though I would not say it is quick). I don't have you use inset seams, or curved piecing, or other scary things. If you have a finished quilt under your belt, you can make this quilt. This pattern is packed full of color illustrations (one for every step) and very clear instructions. It is formatted to letter-sized paper for easy printing. I walk you through fabric quantities (for crib, throw, twin, queen, and king sizes), cutting, applique, piecing, and assembling the quilt top. I included a few alternative layouts as well. There are full-sized templates for all of the pieces. Best of all, there is a full-page coloring sheet for you to play with.
