I enjoy wearing my vintage houndstooth tweed jacket. It makes me feel as though I am covered in shooting stars. The intricacy of the weave has always intrigued me. Now that the classic look of houndstooth is back in vogue, I wanted to "weave" my own version of it in fabric. This is a pattern I released in 2010. My friend Kim of Persimmon Dreams made hers using hand dyed fabrics divided into lights and darks. I think the effect is stunning. Click on the second photo to see it.
