What could smell better than the fresh fragrance of clean laundry dried in the sun? As any mother knows, laundry is a huge part of keeping a home in order. Here we see a family's clothes drying on the clothesline. There's even a quilt hanging on the line! This block doesn't have to be part of a quilt. With a pretty border it could easily be turned into a delightful little wall hanging. Fusible web applique makes the block quick and easy to sew. The pattern includes detailed, illustrated instructions, for everything, including piecing the mini-quilt. It also has full size templates for the applique pieces, and a full size layout plan. For more information about the quilt along visit my blog: Posts about this quilt can be found under the label "Quilt Along Mystery Quilt" found on the right hand side of my blog. Photos of blocks sent by participants in the quilt along are located in the quilt along photos page at the top of my blog. When I retired from a lifetime of teaching in 2007, I was worried that I'd quickly get bored. That concern didn't last long at all. I was thrilled to discover that there really is life outside of the classroom. I spend parts of most of my days indulging in my favorite hobbies of quilting and sewing. I started designing patterns as an experiment, and no one was more surprised than I was to find that other people liked my little designs. I'm a teacher at heart, so I do try to write my patterns in such a way that beginning quilters can follow them. I include lots of details, photos, and little informative notes. I make myself easily available to my customers, and I respond to all questions as quickly and as thoroughly as I can. Contact Information: Blog:, Facebook Page:, Email:
