Harlick the Happy is the perkiest dragon yet! Happy and fiery with a mischievous glint in his eye he will brighten up your wall or he can join in on a larger quilt with other dragons in this series. There are 3 different methods to create Harlick. Fusible applique, traditional applique, and stitch/paint - paint/stitch. Detailed instructions, with step by step photos, and diagrams will help you on your creative journey. Harlick is the first dragon in this series, but he will soon be joined by others. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Depending on the method you choose to create Harlick, it is helpful to be comfortable with some form of applique and free motion quilting. The pattern is made up of 3 files, the first file is 28 pages with the pattern instructions, pieces, photo step by step process, the second file is a 2 page full colour dragon head to make it easier for piece placement or tracing, and the 3rd file is a full size black and white line drawing of the whole block. Even if you are a beginner with some of these skills, you can still make this block! SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Finished Size: 12.5" x 12.5" block. The block can be used as a single decorative mini quilt or added to other dragon patterns to make a full sized quilt This pattern comes in 2 different versions. Both will make a 12.5" x 12.5" block, but the printing is in different formats. This version is the A4 version the most common printing size outside of the United States. So if you are not living in the US, this would most likely be the version that will print best for you!

Art is one of my passions, and fiber is just one amazing medium. It is such a fun and tactile way to explore and express. It can be sewn, glued, cut, painted, felted, etc... There are so many things that can be done and so many types of fiber to use. My current personal favorite is to paint on fabric with inks and then quilt the daylights out of it or quilt the daylights and then paint it! Recently, folks have been asking for patterns to some of my quilts... Swing by my website, blog, or Facebook page to keep up with all the happenings here at Esparta Fiber Arts.
