Pattern Details

This easy, yet stunning design allows the fabric to speak for itself. Hanging vertically or horizontally, Harlequin makes a statement simply pieced or can be used as a backdrop for further embroidery, handwork or embellishment. RECOMMENDED MATERIALS The pattern can be made using most fabric types: quilting weight cotton, home decor weight and more. Originally designed for quilters working with the sumptuous colour and nubbed texture of Dupioni Silk, the pattern includes Dupioni care and washing instructions. When using fabrics that may fray or stretch, I recommend using a lightweight interfacing for the quilt top and binding. FINISHED SIZE - approx 22" x 19-1/2" SKILLS REQUIRED Ruler skills - to cut 60-degree angles for diamonds Cutting, piecing, sandwiching, quilting, binding FREE TUTE A free tute for piecing diamonds + joining diamond rows is available on my made by ChrissieD blog. PRINTING PATTERN Print on 2 sheets paper using 2-sided printing then fold sheets in half to create 8-page pattern booklet

Recommended with this pattern

  • quilt top - 8 fat or long quarters
  • interfacing - 3/4 yard (optional)
  • quilt back - 2/3 yard
