The web in the center of this quilt is quilted in and then clear beads are sewn on to simulate rain drops. The words to the "Eensy Weensy Spider" folk song are embroidered along the border along with a few vines..(Although you could leave them off and show off your quilting here.) This quilt is perfect for the fall season - not too specific to Halloween so it can be left up longer. The beads really give it a beautiful sparkle! There is very little applique on this quilt, but you can find a simple tutorial for my easy method on my blog, Buzzing and Bumbling, or you can use a method of your choice. This pattern will work for both machine and hand applique. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY simple sewing and quilting, simple embroidery, applique SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS approximately 43" x 48"
