*** Note: This pattern is one of ten designs included in my Halloween and Thanksgiving Mug Rug Book. *** There is an old canal tunnel, not far from where I live, that is famous for the largest colony of bats in England, Greywell Tunnel. At dusk the bats come out to play - hundreds of them. And in true Halloween style, they are playful and busy - darting and flying across the night sky. This mug rug design captures that Halloween battiness using just three different fabrics. Unlike the number of bats in Greywell Tunnel, you get to choose the number resting on your mug rug, looking after your coffee and cake. You can even choose to have a gingham moon if you wish (or a paisley moon - or any other fabric moon!). And if you can't decide - then make several. The quick-fuse applique, easy-to-follow instructions and full-size applique sheet will ensure you won't run out of daylight should you decide to make more than one. So join with the Patchsmith in some Halloween fun to create a fun, functional mini quilt for your table this Autumn. This pattern is for personal use but permission is also granted to make this item to sell provided the item is handmade by you and you credit the Patchsmith for the design.
