Gilbert Temple Paper Piecing Pattern Finished Size: 30" x 25" plus seam allowances Original pattern designed for a wall hanging. This would make a beautiful quilt, throw, or pillow (or anything you can imagine) Perfect for a temple quilt for a wedding! Plenty of room has been left at the top (sky portion of the wall hanging) so that names and dates can be embroidered (i.e. John & Susan, December 15, 2013, For Time and All Eternity) When you purchase this pattern, you will be able to download the PDF files. The pattern is in color and has clear numbers and letters. The pattern must be printed on legal size paper (8.5" x 14"). Basic paper-piecing instructions are not included as there are great print and video tutorials available on the internet (i.e. youtube, google, etc.) and on my blog. This pattern is for personal use only. Paper piecing is great for using up your scrap fabric as it uses small pieces of fabric to create the finished picture! This pattern is intended to be sewn with 100% cotton fabric. Fabric #1 (Sky)-3/4 to 1 yard Fabric #2 (Main color of temple)-1/3 yard Fabric #3 (Soil in field)-1/3 yard Fabric #4 (Crops in field)-1/3 yard Fabric #5 (Windows)-1/8 yard, fat quarter, or scraps Fabric #6 (Temple accents)-fat quarter or scraps Fabric #7 (Grass strip just below temple)-long scrap or 1/8 yard BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Paper Piecing SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 30"x 25" plus seam allowances
