It's February, and that means Valentine's Day! Our silhouette children are excited about the holiday. Who will give them valentines? The girl is decorating with a string of hearts that her cat finds very interesting. The boy is happily running to the mailbox with a card for someone special - or is he carrying invitations to a party? His dog looks back as if to say, "Why are you stopping?" This pair of mug rugs is quickly stitched with fusible web applique. Tossed on a desk or a table by your chair, they are just the right size for holding your favorite drink and a small snack. Made in pretty holiday fabrics, they will add a touch of colorful Valentines cheer to your home. The pattern contains detailed instructions with explanatory photographs. Full size templates and full size layout plans are included. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have though email or on my Facebook page. When I retired from a lifetime of teaching in 2007, I was worried that I'd quickly get bored. That concern didn't last long at all. I was thrilled to discover that there really is life outside of the classroom. I spend parts of most of my days indulging in my favorite hobbies of quilting and sewing. I started designing patterns as an experiment, and no one was more surprised than I was to find that other people liked my little designs. I'm a teacher at heart, so I do try to write my patterns in such a way that beginning quilters can follow them. I include lots of details, photos, and little informative notes. I make myself easily available to my customers, and I respond to all questions as quickly and as thoroughly as I can. Contact Information: Blog:, Facebook Page:, Email:
