Pattern Details

I first used this method in 2010 when I wrote this tote pattern: http://www.craftsy.com/pattern/sewing/other/easy-cathedral-quilt-style-tote/70771 This pattern includes updates to make it even easier to get perfect circles and the best results. I love this size because I can easily make a number of these runners and stitch them together to form a quilt. I will post in projects when it is done. I show you how to quilt as you go to make the whole thing come together in no time. The pattern is 9 pages long and packed with illustrations and instructions designed to give you the very best results. You will want a runner for every season! BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Accuracy in tracing and stitching on a traced line SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 50" long by 14" wide

  • one yard of 45" wide low loft batting like warm and natural
  • one yard of each of 2 contrasting fabrics

Like so many sewists I know, I have been sewing since the age of 6. I started at my mother's feet, fashioning her scraps into doll clothes. By age 16, I was spending Summers sewing my wardrobe for the coming school year. I was known as a creative dresser. I wrote my first sewing pattern in 2006 as part of applying for a patent. Now I have thousands of satisfied sewing pattern customers and am very happy to be part of the online sewing community.
