This is the very first quilt design which I ever created. I found the blue/white dot fabric and immediately thought of the old agateware coffee pots. The background fabric I chose had tiny blue flowers, so i thought it appropriate. You can make it with any fabrics of your choice, to match your kitchen decor or that of a friend. I started knitting at age 8 and learned all the rest as I went along - crocheting, sewing, tatting, latch hook, macrame, quilting, needlepoint, leather work, and woodworking. I became a professional seamstress and got into quilting big-time. These days, I mostly concentrate on knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, quilting, and woodworking.
