Make this colorful quilt, choosing your favorite colors to make a striking, graphic impact. The colorful "slices" in this quilt are also perfect for your using up fabric from your scrap basket. This quilt is completely pieced (not appliqued), and is for any quilter that has some experience with precise cutting and seam allowances. It is actually a fairly quick quilt to sew, but because of the curves, it might not be the best introduction to quilting for a beginner. If you are just new to curves, though, this is a great introduction. This pattern is packed full of color illustrations and very clear instructions. It is formatted to letter-sized paper for easy printing. I walk you through fabric quantities for all sizes, cutting (including cutting diagrams), piecing, and assembling the quilt top. I included a few alternative layouts as well. There are full-sized templates for all of the pieces. The best part is the coloring sheet where you can play with different color combinations! This is an original pattern, designed and created by me. It is for personal, non-commercial use only.
