I love houses, and I especially love them during the holidays. These brightly contrasted houses and trees sit on a snowy white background while colorful candy canes dance below. Whether tossed on a table or hung as a wall hanging, this runner will fill a room with instant holiday cheer. This project goes together quite easily as it is constructed with quickly fused applique. The templates allow you to create your own unique houses from two basic designs. There are multiple options for creativity and individual styles. The pattern contains seven pages of detailed instructions with photos as well as full size templates for applique pieces and a reduced size layout plan. There are 10 pages in all. If you have any questions, comments, or problems please send an email to me at You are also welcome to check out my facebook page at I would love to see photos of your completed work in the completed projects section of this pattern page. When I retired from a lifetime of teaching in 2007, I was worried that I'd quickly get bored. That concern didn't last long at all. I was thrilled to discover that there really is life outside of the classroom. I spend parts of most of my days indulging in my favorite hobbies of quilting and sewing. I started designing patterns as an experiment, and no one was more surprised than I was to find that other people liked my little designs. I'm a teacher at heart, so I do try to write my patterns in such a way that beginning quilters can follow them. I include lots of details, photos, and little informative notes. I make myself easily available to my customers, and I respond to all questions as quickly and as thoroughly as I can. Contact Information: Blog:, Facebook Page:, Email:
