Life is filled with reasons to celebrate! June is the month for graduations and weddings, then just around the corner is July with Independence Day and fireworks. Finally, the holiday season fills the winter months. Throughout the year there are births and birthdays, anniversaries, engagements, retirements, and new jobs. There are simple gatherings with good friends or lovely evenings away from children. All of these events and many more are worthy of celebration. This mug rug could be a great announcement that something special is coming up. It also makes a perfect reminder of a memorable moment. Mug rugs are quick little decorative projects and they are just the right size to hold a cup or glass of your favorite something to drink and a small snack. Make one or make a bunch, and toss these colorful mini quilts onto your desk or table top for an instant splash of color. Tucked into a wine glass or slipped into an envelope and dropped in the mailbox, this mug rug can be a lovely gift for someone special. This project makes up very quickly, and the pattern is very detailed. There are complete instructions with full size templates and a full size layout plan. Helpful photos and diagrams are strategically placed throughout the pattern. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have though email or on my Facebook page. When I retired from a lifetime of teaching in 2007, I was worried that I'd quickly get bored. That concern didn't last long at all. I was thrilled to discover that there really is life outside of the classroom. I spend parts of most of my days indulging in my favorite hobbies of quilting and sewing. I started designing patterns as an experiment, and no one was more surprised than I was to find that other people liked my little designs. I'm a teacher at heart, so I do try to write my patterns in such a way that beginning quilters can follow them. I include lots of details, photos, and little informative notes. I make myself easily available to my customers, and I respond to all questions as quickly and as thoroughly as I can. Contact Information: Blog:, Facebook Page:, Email:
