Take 10 fat quarters, and 2 yards of another fabric, to make a fun, stylish quilt. Because this quilt is based on one repeated block, you can follow our layout or turn the blocks to make your own layouts. Designed to highlight Kaufman's Ella Flannels, we have also created an edge-to-edge quilting design that can be stitched out on embroidery machines, and which is inspired by elements from the fabrics. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Basic sewing and quilting SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Finished size is 64" x 77"

Recommended with this pattern

  • 10 fat quarters
  • 2 yards contrast fabric for sashing, inner borders, and contrast bars in blocks
  • 2/3 yard binding fabric

Amelie Scott Designs
Hi! I'm Christine. My family and I started Amelie Scott Designs back in 2008. It was just the perfect business for our family. I love to sew and quilt and create, and so does my daughter. My husband, Mark, has degrees in English, and used to be an editor. (Yes, I sleep with the editor to get myself published, but it has worked well for 25 years so why not.) Back in 2008 my son was taking a web design class in high school, so he was put in charge of our website. Being a teenage boy, he was not keen on a "sewing business," and would tell his friends and teachers that we "sell 'stuff' out of our basement." Later though, he took over creating all the wonderful diagrams we have in our patterns. He is now studying to be an accountant, and is slowing taking over the books. I also work and teach part time in at Quilt Beginnings, in Dublin, Ohio. People often ask us how we got our company name. My daughter's middle name is Amelie (named after my favorite ancestor and pronounced (uh may lee), and my middle name is Scott. I hope you enjoy making up our projects as much as we enjoy creating them! Send us pictures! We LOVE seeing your finished projects.
