Pattern Details

Sometimes, we just need a quick project to be able to just "go sew something". So why not dig into your scrap basket to accomplish this simple task with this free mini project. It finishes at 10.5" x 10.5"; and will show you that your uninteresting scraps can still become beautiful projects. Make just one, or create a variety of blocks to make a larger quilt. Enjoy! This 3-page PDF pattern has colored illustrations, clear instructions, and full-sized templates. Appliques are reversed and ready to trace onto the fusible web. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Some experience using a sewing machine, basic knowledge of fusible applique, and using rotary cutting tools. This is a small project that can be mastered in a short period of time. If you still need more instruction; check out quilting books that teach these methods. SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Quilt size: 10-1/2" x 10-1/2"

Sewing began my 'adventure with fabric' in seventh grade, from making my own clothes, to now having a passion for quilting. I love the creative process and completion of each project is more important than striving for perfection. Presently, I like to blend applique with scrap quilting techniques and finishing my quilts with the quilt-as-you-go technique. After 14 years of quilting, I still haven't learned how to FMQ, but perhaps, it can till happen. When away from my sewing space, it's counted cross stitch and hand embroidery, I'll be working on. I love how creative this platform is; and still enjoy learning new things every year.
