PATTERN DETAILS

38" x 52" Quick Baby Quilt BIG A little a is a fabulous little baby quilt that is easy to make. Simple piecing creates a striking visual impact. Capital letters and lowercase letters machine appliqued are a fresh and playful addition. This is the perfect quilt to try applique with. Just enough to know if you like it or not. This quilt was originally designed for a charity, but they decided not to use it. I loved the quilt too much to not share it. This is one of those quilts that I have made several times. It is fun to see it in different fabric. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Basic Machine Applique

Moose on the Porch Quilts
Quilting is something that I have always been drawn to but found quite by accident. My grandmothers died before I was born, and my mother hated to sew. She was a PE teacher. Somehow I inherited my love of quilting from my great grandmother that I met a few times. I was introduced to long arm quilting in 2001 and instantly fell in love. I bought a long arm the next year and went into business as Moose on the Porch Quilts. A few years later I started writing patterns for charm packs. I loved precuts from the moment I discovered them. They are a great way to make a scrappy quilt with a small investement. They are also a great way to stretch and get beyond ones comfort zone.
