I created this one while trying to design a toddler/baby quilt that might look a little different than the typical baby quilt. I love the design and think it would be wonderful with soft baby pastels or going with bright vibrant colors as well. I originally started sewing to create various animal related items to raise funds for the non-profit animal rescue organization that I founded. I always wanted to learn to quilt, but found the idea very intimidating. Finally, about 3 years ago, I met a friend who taught me the basics during a one-day session at her house where me and a bunch of other mommies learned to make quilts for our new little ones. I've been hooked since then. While most of my patterns here are blocks, piecing and applique, my passion is designing more free style custom quilts for friends and family with lots of embroidery and very large custom applique.
