Poet's Corner Quilt's
Poet's Corner Quilts was born in Western Australia. My husband is a poet and a writer. I shared a corner of his workroom for all my sewing and designing and painting. Seemed fitting that Poet's Corner should be the name of my designs. I am an artist working in paint and fabric, sometimes both at the same time. I teach oil painting and I run mixed media fabric workshops. I exhibit my textile work in exhibitions and shows here in Australia and overseas. I have had my quilts shown in America, Mexico, NSW, Victoria and Western Australia. Many have won awards. I've even published my designs in quilting magazines! I love applique and I love pictorial quilts. Some of my quilts are for beginners and some for more adventurous souls, but I do love to design applique. I hope you like my designs as much as I do.
