Some applique and hand stitching will make a great picture. It can be sewn by Paper foundation , paper piecing or with freezer paper - use your favorite technique. You will receive 26 letters, boys and girls patterns and a color illustration of the above quilt plus black white mirror version, numbered and ready for sewing plus instructions for assembling the block. Just print it and start! This is NOT a complete pattern - no fabric yardages or instructions are provided to make the quilt. Each quilt pattern is 3" (7.6 cm) square block . Need other size? You can read how to change very fast and easy here: http://3patchcrafts.blogspot.com/2012/05/how-to-change-size-of-block.html The size of the whole quilt depends of sashing stripes between letters. I am Electronic Dipl. Ing. I have taught students in the university. The quilting is my love and passion. I have found patchwork around ten years ago reading a magazine. My first project was a table runner with one Marple leaf and mitered corners. You may say there is nothing special in this block. Imagine I have had scissors only and an old household sewing machine. No mat. No rotary cutter. I have not seen any video how to make it easier. I made the runner my way and began to read tips, techniques, tutorials. At the end of last year I won first quilt competition in my country with first prize Bernina sewing machine. Now with the power of Internet and social networks I have friends from all over the world. I was nominated by the Modern Quilt Guild for 100 days of Modern quilting in week of composition. I have explored many aspects of the patchwork and quilting. My patterns are easy to sew. The pictures look primitive, because I believe that children have to cultivate their imagination. There are plenty of fabrics with perfect prints on.
