Lucy is out for a bike ride with her good dog, Brownie. The sun is shining on this bright summer day; the perfect day to meet the boy of her dreams. Lucy is the first quilt block in the Summer Romance quilt. The other blocks continue the story with Sam, their romance on a park bench and riding off together in the sunset. Each pattern is designed to fit comfortably on a 12 inch block. The pattern as sewn in the picture uses raw edge applique which frays when washed. This results in a rustic, folk look to the quilt. This style of quilt block is designed to be free easy and not perfect in any way. That makes it charming! Approximate time to complete: 2-3 hours This pattern includes complete easy to follow numbered step by step directions. There are full size printable patterns for the block appliques. The pattern is written with metric units in parenthesis. If you have any questions or concerns about the pattern please contact me.
