What materials did you use? 100% cotton

What are you most proud of? Even though I put all my strips is a container and pulled them randomly, the outcome is not too bad.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Enjoy. The more stash you use the more new fabric you can get.

Your color palette is nicely controlled, which is funny after I read that you just pulled scraps out of a bag at random! I like how your quilt turned out; it's cool and bright at the same time.

Many thanks, it is very seldom that anything random actually works for me. I did do bit of picking when I put the strips in the container.

Such a beautiful Quilt! I was wondering if you startet your straight line quilting from the center or from the corner.

Thank you for your kind comment. I usually start quilting on a line near or at the centre of the quilt and work out on either side. this seems to help reduce the puckering of an excess fabric.
