What materials did you use? I didn't have any wool, but I did have some string that I use to truss the Chicken in the kitchen. So this project is made with one ply cotton string, I was that keen to start crocheting after watching the lesson!

What are you most proud of? I am most proud of being able to make an item that was useful without having to repeat the video, as the instructions and filming were just perfect that it became self explanatory.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I have not crochet before, so I never expected to come out with a project so quickly. The class is compelling so my advice is to have some wool and a hook ready to play along to the video, it is great fun screaming at the telly, ..... Ta dar!

Great idea and well done.

Thank you "stringplayer", I am using the headband now as I attempt a cardigan for my niece using Linda Perman's other class Beyond Rectangles.

Thank you "saxostamper", when I was younger I used to knit, but never Crochet, so even though this was just string in a desperate hurry to find something to work with, I think I'm hooked on Crochet now!

Very cute. It'd be fun to throw a flower on there, too!

Thank you Linda. That gives me the idea to use up the left over wool from my nieces cardigan. I'm struggling a bit with it, but I'm getting there, and will show you both projects soon ( the flower addition and the cardigan from your other course)
