What materials did you use? Lycra activewear and faux sequin

These were done for a local school play. There were 11 mersister costumes as well as the star, Ariel. The "mermaid tails" were made with two full circles sewn together, horsehair braid at the bottom and then a wire cable run through to help them stand out. Huge project but the girls LOVED their costumes and was such fun to test the skills I learned in Paul's class.
