What are you most proud of? It turned out well enough to finish!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Watch Cindy's work over and over again. I used Cindy's "gourmet batting' and it gives a very nice finished look and is not stiff.

This is breathtaking! WOW! I love the beautiful movement and detail and especially the sunshine/shadow you created with your background quilting. VERY well done....:)

Wow, oh my gosh, wow. I am speechless

Very nice. I must say it plays a trick on my eyes. The flowers, etc at times look concave or recessed. Then other times I only see relief art! I think the dense shadowing is creating this effect. Does anyone else see what I see?

Thanks! It plays tricks on mt eyes too! In real life though it looks a lot like trapunto. I used Cindy's idea of a stencil for the curvy vine, then free hand drew on the flowers with a friction pen and the rest just free motion. It was sooo fun. I got tired of making useless practice swatches and just held my breath and started a real piece.
