What materials did you use? Background fabric: 2 3/8 yards; Scraps for star points: 2 tall and 2 short scraps in each of 11 different colorways for a total of 44 scraps (each scrap should be a different print); Tall scraps, minimum 3" x 7"; Short scraps, minimum 2" x 5"; Backing fabric: 2 yards; Binding fabric: 1 yard; Batting (low-loft cotton): 51" x 60"

What advice would you give someone starting this project? This quilt uses the "Stitch and Flip Triangle" technique I demonstrate in the class. Using a combination of prints and solids adds motion and dimension to the design. You can make the triangles that make up the stars as big or small as you care to.
