What materials did you use? Batik fabric, fusible fleece, large assortment of threads, various couching materials

What are you most proud of? I loved sewing the many decorative stitches in a large variety of threads. I also used fusible fleece when I discovered I didn't have a large enough piece of fusible interfacing on hand.I added my initials and the year to my piece.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Definitely make your stitch bible first; you'll love being able to refer to it. I personally did not enjoy the hand embroidery work, so on my next project, I'll not leave so many areas for that, if any. Because there are no rules, I felt a lot of freedom to use what I had on hand and do what I felt like doing. Grab your thread and your stitch bible and start sewing. This is a really fun project!
