What materials did you use? Shirting Cotton

What are you most proud of? getting the collar right and orange topstitching - first time I have tried contrasting stitching and I am pleased with how straight and neat it is.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? be careful of streaching elastic - also mothers seem to want clothes in sizes that are too big so they will last more than one season.

Adorable absolutely perfect. I love the fabric and your attention to detail. Another fabulous classic shirt!

Thanks Scheri ... that fabric was really fun to work with - hence all my bias pieces.

Thanks Pam ... I just love making shirts and am starting to get more professional results with my collars. I have made three others this month but am waiting to pin fit them on their owners so I will be posting more shirt variations soon. I think it's wonderful that you take the time to comment on student projects, it's really encoraging.
