What a great idea!! I've been using my table knives and then my family complains because they can't butter their toast. I'm adding "hardware store" to my errands list. Thanks so much for sharing!

How did you know?? I remembered something like this from my childhood and started searching the internet a few days ago then..BAM! There you are with exactly what I was looking for!! I'm reteaching myself how to sew and had been using my cell phone and other heavy-ish objects but knew I remembered seeing some of these in my Gramma's sewing box. I knew they were fiber covered washers but that was all I could remember. I didn't know the size or how to put them together or anything else. Thank you for helping me make a great memory come back to life so perfectly!!! I will think of my Gramma, and now you, every time I sew now!! THANK YOU!!!

I've never tried pattern weights before but I think it's time I ventured out of the pin box, into the hardware store. :)
