What materials did you use? cotton fabrics

What are you most proud of? It's not Oct yet. Since I have no real background fabric for this colorway, I'm having to find ways to use what I have left of my fabrics.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Sew slowly. I used the no pin method but it's still too fiddly for me.

Hi Darns - gorgeous, as always. Your work is so special

Thanks, Surfside6! I'm hoping I have enough fabric for the final two blocks! Maybe I'll be able to use some of the scraps I've been saving.

Wow, great job, these are quite stunning!

Thank you for the great compliment!

Enough fabric? I've been known to stitch two or more pcs from the scraps on the floor together and recut . I figure if you quilt over it, who's to know? Also, I make small quilts for a church charity (for hospitals) and after being washed a few times by the new owner, what does it matter? LOL Trust me, this project will probably have a little creative piecing at the end too, as I am using stash

LOL! We do what we have to sometimes! At least I won't have a lot of leftovers from some of these fabrics. I'll definitely need to make some extremely scrappy quilts after this BOM is over.

Great play on the fabric...love it.

Thanks so much!

Darns... I love the whole quilt! I especially love what you've done with Cleopatra's Puzzle... that one somehow needed palm fronds or something regal and you did it. I want to see how you quilt your quilt too! Seems to be the "make-it or break-it" point for me! Kudos!

Thanks, mo.sews! I have started quilting this one after signing up for Leah Day's class - need all the help I can get in deciding what to quilt where.

I think this is turning out to be an expensive free quilt! lol
