What materials did you use? rayon Chenille doubled 1450yds/# Yellow and Lavender

What are you most proud of? I managed to complete the scarf without initially realizing the difficulties I would entertain with chenille.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Lace effects are probably better produced with finer fibers and color otherwise the beauty of the lace is lost. Chenille is not a yarn for the inexperienced. It is a fiber with its own weaving criteria and can turn a simple weaving project into a difficult challenge. Although the leno was a disappointment, I was luck the scarf worked out well.

Oh it looks soo soft

Yes it is that --- very very soft. Some professional weavers stated although the leno wasn't what I visualised from the onset, it still has an advantage of interupting pattern so it makes tasteful transitions in the piece. The scarf became a gift to my sister who did the most to oversee my mom's care over the years.
