What are you most proud of? Piping skills.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I would recommend that you practice piping rosettes on a piece of wax paper. Start at the bottom of the cake and work your way around the cake. Keep the rosettes closed together to avoid gaps and cake showing. A small crumb coat should be done first before adding the buttercream rosettes.

Very elegant. Looks simple enough to do. I love the design. It would fit with most any occasion. I will have to try it.

It's a beautiful cake! I'm planning make different types of buttercream flowers for a cake. Do you think this buttercream receipe will be good to keep the flowers firm? Or is there anything I need yo add? Can this cake be kept at room temperature? Thanks
