What are you most proud of? I am so pleased with how it looks colored in. I still have more work I want to do on it but there was a point that I considered just tossing it out and starting over, but I used my old paper crafting motto..."If it doesn't look good keep adding to it until it does" I am also quite pleased with gaining more control of my stitches. I think with more practice I will get much better.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't give up. It isn't the end of the world if it isn't perfect.

I'm a watercolor lovin' kinda gal. Can you tell me if any of the products you mentioned can be used on projects for machine washing? BTW, love your rooster just as he is and believe in your advice.

Thanks for all the sweet comments. Dye-na-flow is a heat set fabric paint that doesn't change the hand of the fabric. It is by Jacquard.

I adore this! I have a rooster/chicken theme in my kitchen and would love to have something like this to decorate the eat-in nook there. And, honestly, I don't see anything here that looks like an imperfection. Those slight "imperfections" are what makes it a beautiful one-of-a-kind work of art instead of a mass produced "perfect" product that looks just like a million others. Well done!
