What materials did you use? Jelly roll and additional fabric for sashing, borders and backing from 'Tweet Tweet' range by Keiki for Moda

What are you most proud of? My cutting. I actually learnt to cut and not be scared that everything would come out crooked. There was lots of different strips and squares which needed cutting for this and it went very well.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? It takes a while. Overall you're doing all the steps of making a quilt in one go rather than blocks, making a top, then joining a border then adding backing and quilting. Be prepared to do a lot of cutting and lots of smaller quilting to get to the finished product.

Have listed this quilt as for 'men' because I am making it for my Dad. The fabric is not overlly 'manly' but i chose the darker prints from the collection from the sashing, borders, backing and binding to give it an outdoorsy feel.
