What materials did you use? Weather proof upholstery fabric "Chamomile"

What are you most proud of? Learned a new skill doing a french seam, and I used a vintage machine that only does straight stitch, so french seams are perfect, it gives a very clean look.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I think I got a little distracted when I was doing the math measuring how much I have to leave for seam allowances and for the pillow closure. The closure on this pillow opens up.

I want to add tassels on the corners but I am not understanding how to get the thread inside the pillow case... does anybody know a technique that works? I guess video works for me or a picture. Thanks!

Nice pillow but what are French seams?

French seams is a neat technique used when you don't have a serger or a zig zag stitch sewing machine. French seams are helpful because it helps finishes de edges and it gives a completely "seamless" look! I have never tried it before, and Diana explains this technique thoroughly in this "Envelope pillow" lesson.
