What materials did you use? Quilting fabric, wading, flannelette backing.

What are you most proud of? The fact that I even finished it. The photo was taken on the loungeroom floor when I was putting it all together with the wadding and backing fabric. That I made the pattern myself. I had no idea how big it was going to turn out. I have only a normal sewing machine.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Think about the size of your squares and the pattern and multiply and calculate the finished size. Have a bit of experience, take a big breath and go for it - I did.

where do you get the pattern and how much

I bought the pattern but it is for king size bed & I want to make it smaller for double bed. Do you know the size squares needed & finished size to do this pattern as a double bed size?

I don't I am sorry, I made this and it was my very first attempt at a pattern and a quilt. Perhaps when you print the pattern out you cau delete one of the end guitars. I do admit it turned out longer than it needed to be but the width is fine for my son's double bed. We just tuck it under at the end. Good luck with it.
