very nice. did you use printed panels for the ships and map?

Thank you! Yes, the ships and map are prints the fabric line Out To Sea. I fussy cut out each piece and then outlined them.

I would love to learn how to make quilts, I have a quilt that must be 30 years old, and needs to be replaced but the quilts that are sold in the store don't compare in thickness and warmth

You should take one of great classes here on Craftsy and learn! I really like quilting, and it's so nice to curl under a warm quilt that you've made. Bonus points if it's fresh out of the dryer!
