What are you most proud of? It's going to sound funny, but I'm happy to be taking my time with this project instead of rushing through to meet a deadline. I will publish it as a pattern someday, but I refuse to say when!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Step by step! If you've taken my class then you know all you need to make this design. For more information, check out my blog,, where I've posted about the project steps as I've completed them.

I just registered for your class and in the first segment I learned something that has already saved my sanity in making templates. I am looking forward to completing the course, you are an amazing talent. I do so agree with you that taking time to do a project properly is much more important than meeting a deadline. My family members who receive their gifts months late sure understand that theory.

Beth I just got your book and I am glad I can CONGRATULATE you personally on your teaching skills (as well!). I have been appliqueing for many years now and bought lots of books but none so clear and down to earth as yours. I really enjoyed it. Thanks and God bless you.

Thank you so much! I am blushing.

You are teasing us, but I'll wait for the pattern. The Winter Roses is absolutely gorgeous. I still have to finish your class, but I've already learned so much from your book. You are the Queen of Applique without a doubt.

Is the pattern going to be posted for sale?
