What materials did you use? Hand drafted and paper pieced because I couldn't find a pattern for this variation of the antique Chimney Swallows pattern. Black and white fabrics from Riley Blake, lime green Polished Poly thread from YLI. This quilt was donated and auctioned off to raise money for Quilts of Valor.

I would love to have this pattern, could you please give the name of it or where I can purchase it? Thanks

There is no pattern. I saw a photo of an antique quilt that was made using this design and after searching extensively with no luck I decided to hand draft the pattern and paper piece it. It was a lot of work, but definitely worth it! I donated it to an auction to raise funds for Quilts of Valor and it brought in quite a bit of cash :)

I see now the history of this quilt. You are so talented and clever. Just a stunning quilt. Will come up with my own original someday. It's added to my bucket list. So many quilts to do oh my!

Is Tha a forest green fabric on border?

Nope! It's a rich black fabric quilted with lime green Polished Poly thread from YLI.

Well the lime green thread sure polishes it off. I am currently into paper piecing and working on a black and white so this one caught my eye. Looking at your melon templates for an arched border I'm doing.
