What materials did you use? Needed: 4 different pieces of cloth, varying threads and assorted fibers,, seam ripper, fusible fleece, felt backing

What are you most proud of? I am most proud of being able to use the free motion foot a bit better. I have never made a quilt so I'm still working at getting even stitches and moving the fabric throughout the piece.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I tried piecing some fusible fleece onto the piece and I discovered that didn't work well for me. It got bunched up under the fabric, I didn't realize it, my pillow got rather lumpy. darn. I will always use just one piece of fleece. I also would make a piece that when finished would work with a standard pillow form.

Love your color combination, it really stands out. How did you do the back, did you put a zipper in it or does it overlap?

This pillow overlaps. I like the method but sometimes a zipper or button closure keeps the back together a bit better.

Very beautiful and modern. Mind if I ask what kind of machine you have, and how many decorative stitches? These pillows are so cool.

I have a Husquvarna "Ruby." She has quite a few decorative stitches, this is the best gift I've ever had. What do you sew on?

What a cool pillow - the whole concept from colors to stitching is wonderful. It must make you smile every time you see it!

Very stunning!! Love the colors! Where did you get the pattern?

This is a stitch and slash. The class is one of Carol Ann Waugh. She teaches the technique, the learners make up their own design. It's so much fun and playful. Try it!
