Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: I did this cake for the American Culinary Federation cake competition. The theme was Native Florida American Indian and the Everglades. I incorporated dropped string work and brushed embroidery techniques I learned in Craftsy classes Piping Buttercream Boaders and Vinatage Cake Modern Methods respectively. The cake topper is vintage Native American vase with native Indian embellishments carved into it. I used gumpaste to make the vase. I place 2nd in the competition.

What are you most proud of? That I did pretty well for my very first cake competition.
