I tried to cover up most of it - used my genealogy note books. My second passion is genealogy, and I have notebooks all over the place.

I love the colors you chose. How did you choose your colors?

I just went to my stash and chose what I thought looked good together and that there was enough to make the entire quilt top. If I make another top, I hope to find a darker fabric for

as I was saying before my finger hit the wrong key, I would hope to find a darker fabric for #2.

Mostly, I checked to see how much I needed of the different colors, put the ones in a stack that had enough, and they just sort of went together.

I would like to make a king size top. It seems that the larger - the prettier. The one I made was a double/queen but is almost too small to even be a double.
