I like the streak of lighter fabrics moving across the quilt from the upper left to the lower/middle right. Great movement, and it looks nice overall, too. What a lucky man. Have a super day!

Thank you! :) Originally I was going to just have the blocks randomly placed but they I decided to group like colours together on the diagonal and I am very happy with how that turned out.

I agree with the others. That diagonal color placement refreshes an otherwise very traditional quilt. You made a connection with our "foremother quilters" by showing them how we do it today. Well done! Keep sewing and sharing!
